  • Only triathlonscotland race license holders are included
  • You can only claim points after you have purchased a race license, so anyone who raced earlier but did not have a race license cannot claim those points.
  • Those wishing to be included in the individual rankings must have a race license before 31st May
  • The rankings shall be published based upon the maximum points scored by each individual (Regardless of the number of event completed, up to the maximum number of events for each category)
  • e.g. Member A does four sprint events and scores 427 points, member B does six sprint events, his best five results give him 402 points. Member A will finish ahead of member
  • B in the placings for the sprint rankings.
  • Championship rankings shall be based upon who ever scores the highest number of points over the four events (Please note that you do not have to complete all events to win this ranking)
  • A full list of ranking results will be maintained on the website.
Club Ranking Points
Members will be awarded points for their club based upon their finishing place in their age group in each race, and thetotal number of members with a race license in each age group at the 31st May.

Points will be awarded based upon the 40th percentile of members in each age group (or as close as possible)

Age group No. Members No. scoring Point difference
MJ1 10 4 5
MS 100 40 0.5
MV 60 24 0.83

This means that in a race, points will be awarded from a maximum of 20 in each age group, then down by the point's difference for that age group. Every finisher would score a minimum of 1 point for their club.
